I'm a marine biologist living the dream in Alaska. I received my Master's degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences (UAF SFOS) in Juneau, AK. I researched male snow crab (Chionoecetes opilio) reproduction with Dr. Sherry Tamone of the University of Alaska Southeast (UAS). We worked under a grant from the North Pacific Research Board (NPRB 812) and were published in the Journal of Crustacean Biology. This blog was started as my community outreach for our funded project, and continues on to share my love of crabs and crustacean information!
